The Things I Like to Do sheet is a simple, youth‑friendly icebreaker designed to help fire cadets get to know one another and build early connections. Cadets tick activities they enjoy - from reading and sports to gaming, cooking, problem‑solving and more - then mingle to find others who share similar interests or do something they’d like to learn about. This light, informal task helps reduce first‑session nerves, builds confidence, and lays the foundations for teamwork and communication, both of which are essential in fire cadet training.

How To Use

Cadets tick the activities they enjoy in Column A, then move around the room to find others who share those interests and note their initials in Column B. This encourages quick conversation, helping them discover common ground and build early connections. After a few minutes, bring the group together and highlight how shared interests support teamwork within the fire cadet unit.
