IT27 Communications and Engagement Fire Standard

The Communications and Engagement Fire Standard outlines ways in which FRS can demonstrate effective internal and effective communications through inclusive approaches. This in turn contributes to a positive culture and working environment. 

Effective communication supports the development of safer communities and the use of StayWise consistent national messaging encouraging positive involvement and builds trust.

StayWise provides a platform for FRSs to feed into the development of national messaging through engaging in consultations and maintaining positive relationships. Utilising StayWise in prevention activity demonstrates a services commitment to successful collaborations and partnerships.
