Description
The provision of appropriate training, supervision and quality assurance will help ensure that those delivering services to Children and Young People (CYP) are competent to do so. The Training and Competence guidance document will support services to identify the appropriate skills, knowledge and understanding required to deliver services effectively, efficiently and safely to CYP.
How To Use
This document applies to fire and rescue employees and volunteers who engage with CYP and should be considered as part of the risk management process when designing and delivering youth activities.
