The aim of this session is to consolidate and demonstrate the skills they have learned working with hose and ancillary equipment.
The key objectives are for fire cadets to:
- Demonstrate where the various types of hose and ancillary equipment would be stowed.
- Set up hoses and associated equipment to operate with pumping appliances.
- Understand and be able to use hand signals.
- Demonstrate how to haul aloft a jet and deliver water safely from height.
