The aim of this is to provide Fire Cadets with an awareness and understanding of hazards on the drill ground and to demonstrate how equipment can be hauled aloft.
The key objectives are for cadets to:
- Identify hazards on the drill ground.
- Describe ways of reducing or eliminating the risk.
- Haul aloft a length of hose using appropriate knots & lines and safety words of command.
