The aim of this session if to provide fire cadets with an awareness of a variety of hose and associated equipment.
The key objectives covered are for fire cadets to be able to:
- Identify a range of Fire and Rescue Service hose and ancillary equipment.
- Demonstrate where the various types of hose and ancillary equipment would be stowed
- Demonstrate how to set up hose and associated equipment to operate with pumping appliances.
- Demonstrate and understand the use of hand signals.
