Description
Kent County Council have developed a campaign called Speak Out. The aim is to empower passengers to speak out if they feel uncomfortable in a vehicle due to the driver's behaviour to keep themselves and their driver safe on the roads. It also highlights that if a driver feels uncomfortable with their passengers' behaviour, they should challenge them. This is particularly important for young drivers and passengers who may be experiencing being driven by friends for the first time.
How To Use
This poster is needed for delivering the second part of the Young Driver and Passenger Course. Students are encouraged to use the poster and the tips and guidance contained in it to help them with their ideas for the extension activity in the session. It provides an opportunity for discussion and consideration about what they would do if they feel uncomfortable in different situations in a car.
