Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service have teamed up with design students from Bedford College to help teach children about fire safety by creating educational resources aimed at primary schools.

How and when to call 999, Stop, Drop and Roll and the dangers of matches and lighters are just a few ideas that the team came up with.

Colleagues at BFRS were impressed by the enthusiasm of the students and their attention to detail, which helped them create some fantastic resources.

The team at StayWise were impressed too, and the students were rewarded with some StayWise mechanise.

The designs will shortly be available at www.staywise.co.uk.
